About this hotel

Angama Mara is a luxury tented camp perched on the Oloololo Escarpment above the Mara Triangle in the Masai Mara. It is run as two separate camps, North and South, with 15 tented suites each. Every suite is over 100 square metres including its deck, with floor-to-ceiling glass, a super-king bed, parquet floors and a writing desk. One specially designed suite is fully accessible.

Shared spaces include a restaurant with a large terrace, a sunken fire deck with a telescope, an infinity pool, a fitness room, a safari shop, an artefact gallery and a studio where Maasai women make beadwork. Activities include game drives in the Mara Triangle, guided walks on the escarpment and hot-air balloon flights. Rates typically include accommodation, guided safaris, all meals and drinks (excluding champagne and reserve wines), laundry and Wi-Fi. Guests normally fly from Wilson Airport to the Kichwa Tembo airstrip, about 45 minutes, then drive for around half an hour.
