7:00 AM breakfast and briefing. Drive to Kibale National Park (6 hours) through the beautiful Ugandan countryside with tea plantations and crater lakes. Arrive at Kibale Forest Lodge in the afternoon. Evening briefing from park rangers about chimpanzee trekking guidelines.

6:30 AM breakfast and packing. 7:30 AM depart for park headquarters for briefing. Enter Kibale Forest for chimpanzee trekking (2-5 hours). Once located, spend one hour observing chimpanzees as they feed, play, and socialize. Learn about their social structures from expert trackers. Afternoon visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for bird watching.

8:00 AM breakfast. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (5-6 hours) via Queen Elizabeth National Park with views of the Rwenzori Mountains. Check-in at your Bwindi lodge nestled in the jungle. Evening briefing about gorilla trekking rules and safety.

5:30 AM early breakfast. Drive to park headquarters for gorilla group assignment. Enter Bwindi's dense forest with expert trackers and armed guards. Trek through thick vegetation (1-5 hours depending on gorilla location). Once you find a gorilla family, you have one magical hour watching them eat, play, and interact. Return to lodge for celebration lunch.

7:00 AM breakfast. Morning optional Batwa pygmy cultural experience (visit the "Keepers of the Forest" to learn about their traditional forest life). Drive back to Entebbe (7-8 hours) with packed lunch. Stop at the Equator for photo opportunity. Evening drop-off at Entebbe Airport for departure.
