Severin Sea Lodge is a beachfront resort on Bamburi Beach on Mombasa's north coast, about 12 km from Mombasa town. It has around 188 traditional African-style rooms, suites and bungalows, with private bathrooms and a seating area, and some have a terrace or balcony.
The main restaurant is the Kisima buffet overlooking the ocean, with an a la carte restaurant and the Imani dhow restaurant. There are outdoor pools (listings say one or two, with a waterslide), a gym and a spa, and beach activities such as windsurfing and diving. Half board and full board are offered as rate options, so check the board basis when booking. Check-in is from 12:00 and check-out before 10:00.
