Kicheche Mara Camp is a small, unfenced bush camp in the Mara conservancies, overlooking the Olare Orok stream. Sources describe eight tents (one says ten), set apart for a rustic and comfortable stay close to the wildlife. Tents have a verandah, cotton linen, dressing gowns and electrical outlets, and the camp offers laundry service and complimentary internet.
The camp is eco-friendly and caters for vegetarians. Access is usually by a one-hour flight from Wilson Airport followed by a drive of about 20 minutes. Conservancy rules allow fewer vehicles at sightings, and the Kicheche group also runs related camps nearby, including Kicheche Valley and Kicheche Bush Camp.
