About this hotel

Ol Tukai Lodge sits at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, in the heart of Amboseli National Park, a park famous for its large elephant herds. The lodge has 80 chalet-style twin rooms spread under the trees, each with a private bathroom and terrace, a safe, a fan and a tea and coffee counter. Every room looks onto the wetlands or Kilimanjaro, and two rooms are designed for guests with limited mobility. A family room and the three-bedroom Kibo Villa are also available.

The restaurant opens onto a garden veranda, there is a pool bar, and the Elephant Bar has a roof-level deck overlooking the marshes and Kilimanjaro. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool, a spa and massage, a gift shop, a clinic, a business centre and Wi-Fi, and the lodge has a conference room for up to 200. Activities include game drives (including night drives led by a warden), a short bird walk (about 400 bird species are recorded), Maasai village visits, the elephant research centre, bush dinners and a champagne breakfast at the observation hill.
